Tom really is the full package when it comes to wedding photography. Perfect communication from start to finish.
On the day we loved Tom’s enthusiasm and dedication, he was a ghost at all times, blending in with the crowd and hiding in vantage points to catch the best shots. Then he’d jump out of the shadows and quickly take control of situations where people needed to be in certain places and positions, such as group photos, nobody was left guessing, Tom had all the angles worked out and quickly got everybody in their places so photographs were expertly centered. Tom is creative with his shots, using a variety of equipment and props, such as step ladders, lights, champagne bottles and snow, and the end results speak for themselves. 5 days after the wedding Tom came round and presented us with 1118 edited photographs and a slideshow of the day that we all watched together. We are more than delighted with every single photo and would recommend Tom every single time.

We were very impressed with Tom and the process from booking him to be our photographer to getting the final images back and everything in between. He was very professional and made us and our guests feel at ease on the day. We had a good chat a few weeks before the wedding so we all knew what to expect on the day and how things would work, and Tom worked exactly as described during this chat. He does a good mix of some posed shots and some more relaxed and in the moment shots throughout the day. Tom made the most of the lovely autumn colours and setting for our wedding. The guests also commented on what a good job he did throughout the day. He turned around our images and returned them to us within a short space of time which we were very impressed with, and you can tell he put a lot of work into making them the best photos possible of our special day. Would highly recommend Tom and his Wedding photography services to anyone looking for someone to capture their big day.

Tom is a truly amazing photographer and was the perfect match for us.
His photos captured the real moments in a way I didn't think was possible. From our first meeting with Tom we knew he was the photographer for us. We had a lot of laughs during the day including me trying to talk while smiling and our battle with the wind for most of our day. Our pictures were returned quickly in a beautiful presentation box. Tom's payment terms of the balance on return of the photos instead of fully in advance is testament to the quality of his work.
I only wish we could have our day again, if we did we would book Tom!

Tom is amazing! He's fantastic at what he does and we couldn't recommend him highly enough. He put us and our guests at ease on the day and was great at coaching us through each shot. The photos he managed to capture are outstanding and we absolutely love them. Tom is professional and had clearly done his research ahead of our big day because he knew exactly where to go to get the best shots and vantage points. As you can see from the photos attached to this review - he will go the extra mile to get the perfect shot, including getting in the cold North Sea with us!

Tom has been amazing from the very beginning especially with all the date changes due to the pandemic.

We finally met Tom a couple weeks before the wedding and what a lovely genuine bloke. We talked about the special day and how it would go, Tom having dealt with many weddings gave us his opinion on how maybe some of the day should play out, for example more natural photos and spending more time with friends and family rather than posing all day. Obviously, Tom said all of the day was our choice, but we completely agreed with him as the day went very quick and we got to enjoy our day rather than being away from everyone taking photos.

On the day Tom was amazing, he captured everything. We have actually just sat and went through all of the photos, and it was like reliving the whole day again. As said above the day goes soo quick, some of it was a blur but the pictures have brought it all back. They're amazing and the video that Tom put together for us along with the song I walked down the aisle to had me crying my eyes out. It's something we can keep forever thankyou soo much Tom xx

Tom is a wizard with the camera! He will capture your forever moments. He is professional, friendly and supported our vision of what we wanted and suprised us with natural moments. Posed or not he was a joy to have share our day. We were a challenging bunch as having so much fun, it was like working with rebellious kids having had buckets of sugar, but Tom went with it and again captured some unforgettable shots! I couldn't recommend Tom enough for any event. Amazing at what he does, and we can't wait to see the end product as the teasers have been amazing!

Feeling comfortable on our wedding day was of paramount importance to us. Having scrolled endlessly through reviews and galleries, we decided to book Tom in 2018. Fast forward 4 years, and we finally got our wedding day. Tom was so easy to communicate with, always responding promptly and made changing over our date due to covid both stress and hassle free.

When we finally met just a few weeks before our 4th August wedding day, it was immediately apparent that we had made a good choice in our wedding photographer. Tom was extremely friendly yet professional and made us both feel instantly comfortable. We talked through what we wanted from our photos and how the day would work and left feeling confident we would end up with some brilliant picture memories. We weren’t wrong!

On the day, Tom arrived early to scout the venue and ensure that he didn’t miss any of the key moments from the pre wedding preparations. For vast amounts of the time, we didn’t even know he was there - exactly what we had asked for! Tom pointed us in the direction of perfect settings and timings for lighting to create beautiful pictures but there was never any pressure. If we were busy with our guests or enjoying certain moments, he made us feel totally comfortable in deciding when the right time was for our pictures. Tom worked with our master of ceremonies to ensure we were always where we needed to be so that the day could run entirely smoothly.

He stayed throughout the day and was only too happy to stay well into the evening in order to ensure each element of the venue (various rooms) could be captured.

To top it all off, Tom provided us with a collage on the day to share with friends and family and we received all of our edited photos within less than 2 weeks - amazing! Our final images are incredible."

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, Tom is the man for you. We could not fault him for anything, he was absolutely brilliant. He was super professional and was great at rounding up and directing our wedding guests for the photos we requested from our big day. Our wedding guests also said how wonderful Tom was with them when asking for photos. We loved the fact he would just hide amongst the guests and get real shots rather than everything being staged which is the main reason we chose Tom. He even had a large white umbrella at hand as the rain just couldn’t help itself but show up on our big day lol. He was super quick at editing our photos in time for our return from our honeymoon and the presentation box we received our USB in was amazing. We couldn't be happier with how the photos came out as well, also Tom took the time to format all the photos so they were ready for our phones and socials. We really cannot recommend him enough, thanks again Tom!

Tom was our photographer for our wedding at Bamburgh Castle in October 2021. From the very first contact via email through to a chat over coffee and then the wedding day itself, Tom was brilliant. He put us totally at ease and we had every confidence in him to capture our day in photos. He went over and above on our wedding day, even lending his coat to our daughter and giving us a lift to our reception to keep us on time and - more importantly - warm! Tom is brilliant at what he does! He is quick to reply to emails and very easy to get hold of. We booked a pre-shoot and wedding photo package with him. He was great from the start, very approachable, professional but also up for a laugh too.
We were another wedding affected by Covid-19, but thankfully Tom did not let this spoil our day. He captured the whole day perfectly, making everyone at ease in front of the camera. We loved his creativity of the different shots! With both the pre-shoot and wedding day Tom sent through a sample of the photos on the same day. You can't ask for a quicker service than that!! His turnaround on producing the final copies were quick in a lovely customised USB box. We now have the hard job to pick our favourites and there are too many to choose. Thank you!!

Tom Hibberd a great photographer. We booked Tom for our mirco wedding in May upon meeting Tom he put us instantly at ease. Tom covered all eventualities, even when it started raining he was there with umbrella in hand. His photos are stunning, he went above and beyond even sending some photos back on the very same day. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Tom. I can't recommend him enough. Will definitely use Tom again when we can have night do.

At first we were considering not having a photographer at our wedding and leaving our family and friends to capture our day, after much consideration we contacted Tom and thank god that we did. From our first meeting with Tom, he was great, very friendly and professional, we wanted something informal and relaxed which we discussed with Tom and he was the perfect person to do this for us. Tom was not intrusive at all and on the day we hardly knew he was there, this is echoed in some of the images he has taken. We can’t thank Tom enough for capturing our day so perfectly, along with our amazing memories we have the amazing photographs to go with them.

Tom Hibberd. What an amazing gentleman and photographer. We hired him for our wedding day, and from the very first meeting he made ever effort to ensure our wishes came to fruition. Getting married in November, it was going to be cold and dark, however I had envisioned our wedding photos being taken in a local park. Tom bent over backwards to ensure the best photos were taken. He went to the park before hand to find the best places to get those amazing shots. He was happy to oblige when I changed the running time’s for the day the week of the wedding. He made every effort to accommodate us at every turn, including photographing our two dogs - who were our ring bearers. He was unobtrusive on the day, and always had an idea on how to make the photos that extra bit special. They have come out amazing! And the turn around time was very quick!  On the day, true to his word, Tom was like a second best man, always running around, supporting both us and the venue staff, to ensure the smooth running of our day. Tom is genuinely enthusiastic about his craft, and this comes through in the finished photos.  I have recommended him to our friends who are getting married, and would urge anyone thinking of using Tom as your photographer to reach out, have a meeting and see his work.

We recently employed Tom to photograph our wedding on March 7th 2020 and he was truly wonderful! He made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable immediately! I hate my photo taken but I didn't even notice he was taking the pictures most of the time! The final photographs that we were sent are just perfect and so beautiful, I couldn't have asked for better! And I am very grateful to him for this! I would strongly recommend him for any occasion where a photographer is required.

Tom was our photographer in October and travelled to the Lake District. We cannot thank Tom enough as on the day nothing was too much trouble. We hired Tom as the photographer for our wedding. Words cannot begin to explain how good this man is at what he does. Before the event he spoke at length to get an idea of what we would like. On the day he was there clicking away, cracking jokes and generally putting everyone at ease, even those who don’t like having photographs taken were enjoying having them done by the end of the day. His attention to detail is second to none. If he thinks something isn’t right then it gets put right, no ‘that will do’ approach. Best day of my life

I can not recommend Tom highly enough. He did an amazing job at our wedding and spent the whole day with us including a very early start! Tom is a fantastic photographer and an all round lovely guy. We hired Tom for our wedding day photography, and would highly recommend him for weddings and other events.

We received our images promptly and were reassured that if there was anything else Tom could do for us - changing any effects on the photos, swapping photos on the slideshow etc that he would do it. On the day, Tom was assertive but not intrusive, we got all the planned photos we wanted, and many which we weren’t even aware he was there for! It was lovely to look through our photos and see joyful moments he had captured of our guests and of course so many of myself and my new husband which we will surely look back on for years to come.
